This is what happens when you do your own child’s senior pictures: Vegas, Murrieta, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs and Idaho. Spoiled? Absolutely.

Just wanted to share one of my ads from Wedding Style Magazine a few years ago. Still love it! Grace is always at the forefront of the luxury wedding market.

This is a shot with all natural light coming into the studio from behind my back. Because we don’t have a nice hotel suite, my favorite, we just grabbed a chair that was on hand in their studio. We then quickly put up a backdrop to begin. This was the class where we discovered thirty people are too many! Live and learn.

In the first picture I wanted to show how the bride and groom are naturally lit as the eye would see them without any lighting techniques used. In the next picture I shot the bride alone using an off camera flash about 3 feet above my head. These were shot at mid-day, bright sun.

Having great looking models always helps too! This image of the bride and groom by the graffiti wall is for Lance since he worked so hard on those abs!

Are these not the cutest portable hard drives you ever did see?  I load all the bride and grooms images onto this for delivery after the wedding.  If they have no color as their wedding color…we all know what I’m talking about!  Use your studio color.  Mine is a soft blue and looks great.  I struggle to hand it over every time.  So professional looking compared to a shabby cd…I’m just sayin!
